Château Miqueu is located in the commune of Vertheuil in the North Médoc,between Pauillac and Lesparre-Médoc, on the same terroir than many prestigious classified growths. The Ferré family is the owner of Château Miqueu for five generations. Charles Ferré is enamoured of the quality. He focuses on producting an expressive and qualitative Haut-Médoc wine, with well-distinguished Cabernet notes. Each family member takes on a share of the creation of this wine, vintage after vintage, from the vines to the final blend, passing by the meticulous sorting of grapes.
Tasting Note:
Dark colour, dense with bright highlights. Intense nose of black fruits, spice and roasted notes. Tha aatack is wide and elegant, marked by ripe black fruit. The mid-palate displays a great structure with a good balance. The intense finish is underlined by well-integrated woody notes.
