▪The smokiest whisky from the anCnoc Peaty range - Peatheart.The Knockdhu distillery has used barley malted to 40 PPM.

Tasting Note:

▪ Nose: Understated peat smoke and barbecue balanced by ripe pineapples, pears and a dark, rich tone of baked toffee apples. Subtle vanilla and sparks of fresh lemon rind lend lightness and elegance to the composition. Shortbread, oakcakes, pipe tobacco leading towards earthy peat smoke. Lighter notes of citrus peels and vanilla ice cream.

▪ Taste: Structured and full, with rich smoke in balance with juicy gummy bears and the light, fizzy sweetness of spun sugar. Undertones of a hay barn and fudge give it a delicious weight. Chocolate malt, a touch of BBQ meat, cinder toffee and cardamom seed

▪ Finish: Long and growing, distinctly spicy and sweet with a warming, smoky finale. Surprisingly refreshing on the finish - smoke still persists, but notes of green apple and orange blossom develop alongside it.
