荔仙副牌酒 2nd Wine of Chateau Prieure Lichine

Created in the sixteenth century by the ancient Benedictine monks, the vineyard of the Priory initially produced only altar wine. In 1951 Alexis Lichine acquired ownership and develops the price of his work and attendance. At his death, his son Sacha takes over and adds 71 more hectares in area. Since 1999 it belongs to the family Ballande that extends the story started by Lichine family father and son.

Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon 65%, Merlot 30%, Petit Verdot 5%

Tasting Notes: intense, fresh and fruity, pretty red fruit, nice spice and vanilla balance, long, fresh finish.

Matching good with beef dishes.
