Sourced predominantly from the 2019 harvest, which makes up 88% of the blend. Grapes were sourced from over 50 crus within Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Bar regions, early September yielding top quality grapes with a great level of maturity. For the Cellar Master, Dominique Demarville, Lallier R.019 is the most exciting and challenging blend to make. It conveys his every-year reflection on a specific harvest which enters in the large majority (min. 60%) into the final Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blend. Lallier R.019 isuncompromising. If a harvest is not meeting the house’s quality standards, the wine is not released this year. This innovative philosophy offers a unique brut vintage champagne experience.
COLOR: Light golden color with jade reflections.
NOSE: Fresh citrus fruits (lemon and tangerine) supported by notes of white fruits (vine peach, green apple). A touch of brioche and light spice completes the aromatic intensity.
PALATE: Frank intensity in the attack, delicate fruitiness, and silky texture. The finish is long and deep with beautiful aromatic persistence.
